The ecology

From the lake to the forest ...

The biological part of ecology describes the interactions between organisms with each other and their environment, ie between living things and abiotic factors such as climate, soil, light, water and chemical factors. In addition to the insight into the different ecosystems, their living organisms and their interactions with each other, this learning module also gives an impression of the principles of population ecology. The ecology research is divided into three parts: auto-ecology (interactions between a species and its environment), demoecology (interactions between a species and its environment with regard to its populations) and synecology (interactions between the biocenosis and the species living in it) , Among the most important ecologists of the past are u.a. famous people like Charles Darwin, Carl von Linné, Justus von Liebig or Ernst Häckel.
